As I delved deeper into art studies, I came to a realization: "Ancient fine arts are historical imprints; if you wish to uncover the truth about society or see its hidden beauty, you must analyze the aesthetics of its monuments deeply."
After the research about the Temple of Literature 2022, I became especially drawn to the intricate engravings on Vietnam's traditional pagodas. Through this, I realized that the creativity of past artisans arose from the issues of their time, uniquely expressed in this extraordinary art form. So i accepted the intitavition to play a roles as Curational Assistant of Mr.Tran Quoc Duc again to parcitipate in "Mang Cham" Exhibition in the heritage festival which was organized by the Management Commitee of Hanoi Old Town, we aimed to celebrate and promote the meaning behind these ancient arts.
I collected & took photos 10 engraving samples from these Thang Long Tư Tran - the four ancient temples of Hanoi, then carefully labeled and arranged them. Besides, in order to become a real curator in future, i do even the most little thing such as preparing a teabreak area, and setting up two patterned columns of decoration. Not wanting visitors’ experience to feel meaningless or distant from the historical essence, I proposed an interactive activity.
